The George Wiley Center believes in the dignity of all including the right to guaranteed income and better wages. We support increasing staffing to assure the unemployed receive proper and speedy assistance. We fought the closing of Department of Human Service and NetworkRI offices. We work with seniors to strengthen and secure Medicare and Social Security for Rhode Islanders. We support increasing the minimum wage and advocate a Living wage as well as improving the Earned Income programs and promoting Tax Fairness.
