The George Wiley Center and it’s members in the Northern
RI Chapter of the Campaign to Eliminate Childhood Poverty are pleased
to announce the formation of a new problem solving team called Consumers
Fighting Back — Working in the Northwest Corner of Rhode
Island.
The team decided to focus its efforts on energy problems. The team is using an 8 step problem solving plan called The Q.C. Story. The plan was developed in the early 60’s by some unknown genius. The Q.C. story is employed by Corporations & non-profits to improve their efficiency. Consumers Fighting Back has entered the 2nd step of the process: Understand the Current Situation. This part of the process involves Data Collection & Analysis. The team hopes to have this step completed in early May and present its findings this summer. The public‘s input is necessary for this unfunded energy project to succeed.
